Really enjoyed it, great story.

4/5* This book always makes me really happy (because we're seeing the Cortex Winterbourne Agency and all these amazing characters again) but also incredibly sad (because Paige and Lucas are clearly having a really tough time at the moment). It's such a realistic story - someone feeling self-conscience about their relationship, opening themselves up to suspicions and a bruised heart, only to realize that their partner is still completely in love with them. Supernatural fight club!!! I could read a whole book on just that alone.

I love the Women of the Otherworld series and have wanted to read this novella since it first came out. So after getting a kindle this week Counterfeit Magic was my first ebook purchase.I really enjoy Savannah and Paige so it was great to get to read another story featuring them. I will be so sad when the last book 13 comes out.Counterfeit Magic has Paige and Savannah go undercover in a supernatural fight club. We get some of Adam and Lucas too!I love this series. So I enjoyed the novella. It's

it's almost hard to believe this is just a short story - so much happens. Savannah really does a great job here and we see the beginning of how serious her crush for Adam is. The too perfect couple gets challenged. It's only too bad we see too deeply into Paige's hangups. But her reaction to her own issues was solid.



Witch investigators Paige Winterbourne and Savannah Levine take on a case of an illegal supernaturals fight club, which seems to be having trouble with their fighters dying. Meanwhile, Paige's husband Lucas is dealing with politics in his family's cabal. Nice enough novella, though I am not as keen about the witches' storylines in this author's Otherworld series as I am about the werewolves. I just think the werewolves have more compelling stories and characters.
