This was a quick, easy read for younger readers looking for action and suspense.

This was a thrilling read. From start to finish you are drawn in - it touches on topics like mental illness and hostage situations and protesting the truth. Choose this book if you're in a bind, you won't regret it!

i loved this book there was so many secrets revealed if you like mystery don't hesitate to pick this book up it was amazing

A good middle grade/YA book about a 12 year old girl called Anni and how she cares for her mum. Then one afternoon some people break into her house and her world is turned upside down. Really fast-paced and gripping, and brings up lots of issues that are important for children and teenagers to read about.

LWould 100% recommend to ages 9 and over. Perfect for 11/12. Nice to see the themes of young carers, kleptomania and agoraphobia included in a way that didn't seem too in-your-face and obvious. Tense right from the get go and the plot went somewhere I really didn't see coming, which is rare for a YA book. What a great read. No 'adult' content (e.g: bad language, sex or drug/alcohol abuse)

It's all about a girl who cares for her mother while trying to keep up with her life. Her mum won't leave the house and can only walk with sticks. It shows how carers try to keep things going and offers websites and numbers young carers can ring if they are in that situation as they do need support. Then someone breaks into their home but instead of being terrified, a mutual understanding develops and by being there they discover some truths about each other - no one is as they seem.
