Representaion As Books Wolfen (Wolfen #1)

As engrossed as Danika generally is in her work, even she notices the underlying hostility with which the locals in the small northwestern town regard her and her research.

She notices the biker gang that arrives shortly behind her even more.

With their long hair, tattoos, and piercings, the rough group of bikers aren't the sort of men she's ever had contact with-and shouldn't want to have contact with-but they don't seem to grasp that they're not her type and she isn't theirs.

Assessment Of Books Wolfen (Wolfen #1)
My forays into the world of e-books is always a hit-or-miss, even with authors I'm familiar with (Joey Hill, Lora Leigh, Evangeline Anderson, D J Manly) so when I decide on an author I've never heard of AND the book is a paranormal AND I decide to buy the print format, I guess I deserve it when the heroine ends up having a litter of wolfen in her HEA with the pack of um...five wolfen heroes.Believe it or not, I liked this book. Perhaps because I was expecting it to be really bad (I'd forgotten I

Read this one a couple months ago. It was erotica so I wasn't expecting a great story. I really liked the story ~but not so much the sex. Go figure.

I give this book a solid 4. I actually really enjoyed it. It being my first multi-partner PNR I wasn't really sure what to expect, especially since all the male characters where toted to be Alphas, leaving me to wonder how well that could actually work. I liked that everyone was consistent in their objections and resolutions, the men were indeed pretty Alpha, so they didn't all come together in perfect harmony with rainbows and kittens, the tension remained constant and the result was a

I kinda liked this story, but, it had some problems.FAR TOO MUCH introspective musings by heroine and main characters. I mean, way way way too much. It went on and on and on and on and on ... I had to skip, it was boring. Also, a real thing about age !! The story went on about it all the time. You'd think the main female character was 50 rather than thirty something. Geez this just makes me wonder how old the author is, when I read She should probably try to set up an appointment with a doctor,

3-1/2 stars. The book started out slow and really didn't pick up until a little over halfway through. For guys that are supposed to be watching out for the heroine, she was walking around those woods a lot by herself. The romance part was okay. I find the romances better with Kaitlyn O'Connor's Cyborg series more believable. (Of course, this is believing a cyborg's love versus a shapeshifter's love which is always measurable.) I've seen from other reviews that the other books in the series are

3 1/2 starsCould not stand Dani she was tstl. Lots of hot sex with different partners.Enjoyed the Wolfen/Were story line.Favorite lines"Her preoccupation with her whining coochie had completely distracted her from everything else..." " I want drugs"

It started nicely but then went downhill pretty fast. I mean, I understand that characters are wavering, unsure and so on. But seriously, do they have to think, rethink and repeat again every single tiny thing for like 20 pages? I really thought I will like that book, but I was bored out of my mind after few of those self-analysys...
