Crit Containing Books A Life Not my Own

This story absolutely broke my heart at times. I can't imagine having to go through or endure the types of things that went on in this story. Tm Brown takes you on a journey through her life, walks with you through each emotional chapter and gives you a gift that you were never expecting to receive. I usually don't read autobiographies, but I'm so glad I read this one. This author has to be one of the strongest, and the bravest person, there is. I'm honored to have been able to read about her

The beginning of this book had me captivated. I was touched by the openness of the author about the trials of her childhood had me routing for her. I loved how she was able to see positives among all the darkness. However at the end I began to lose interest. I am glad she has a strong connection to her God, however, this is not what I was expecting. I am sorry but I found the way the end is written not to my liking.

Brown gives us a heartfelt view of her difficult childhood, and circumstances that contributed to her being a strong woman today. Great read!

Great story about love and perserverance!

Very thought provoking, and heartfelt. I liked the fact that belief in God was part of this story. Sadly, this book had many spelling and grammatical errors. I don't know who proof read this book!
