Description Toward Books Cry Baby (Callum Doyle #4)

It’s every mother’s nightmare – the abduction of her baby.

That’s how it starts for Erin Vogel when she is attacked and left unconscious in her apartment. When she awakes, it is to find that Georgia, her six-month-old daughter, has been taken.

But Erin is given a chance to get Georgia back. At an unthinkable price.

Like most mothers, she has always said she would do anything for her child. Now the strength of that bond is about to be put to the ultimate test.

And when her actions arouse the interest of a certain Detective Callum Doyle, one thing is inevitable: a confrontation that will be as explosive as it is unforgettable.

From the highly acclaimed author of Pariah, The Helper and Marked comes a nerve-shredding novel that questions the line we draw between good and evil.

Write-Up Regarding Books Cry Baby (Callum Doyle #4)
It's a poorly written weak story that left me bored and irritated for losing my time reading it. The novel is cathegorized as a thriller but I didn't feel any whatsoever.I don't recommend it.

This is not a bad book, but some reviews here would have you believe it's a great book. It's not, it's story is engaging but it's characters and dialog are weak. It's like a pretty good episode of a procedural police drama.

Yikes - couldn't stop reading it but found it quite distasteful. A real thriller - well written, great story and many twists but very much doubted the integrity and the sanity of this Mum; I found myself silently arguing with her decision making and feeling both sorry for and angry with her!

A real highpoint of the publishing year for me, is a new addition to David Jacksons excellent Detective Callum Doyle series. But fear not, gentle (but criminally minded) reader, if you have not sampled the wares of Mr Jackson before, because Cry Baby proves an easy entry point into the pre-existing series, and then you can relish the experience of playing catch-up with the others. Everyones a winnerThe book grabs your interest from the get-go with a young mother, Erin Vogel, experiencing the

Audiobook - absolutely brilliant story with a great twist

I read this review before buying this book:"Yet again Jackson's literary skills shine through with another fast and accomplished narrative together with impressive dialogue"And after I was barely able to read 50 pages I was left wondering about the principles and morals of those who writes such reviews, when you write something you first need to believe in it, and secondly it must be true ...This book was one of the worst I ever bought or read, a story - which can be comfortably told in no more

I very rarely read an entire book in a day. There is always a point where I am able to break off, resurface and get on with the rest of my life. With Cry Baby, I had no choice but to read on, and I finished it in one, perfect sitting. This is a Just One More Chapter book. This is a book to keep you reading into the small hours, because you will (literally) be unable to put it down. The plot is woven with such skill, it will pull you from page to page, until you might actually find yourself in
