Interesting introduction to this series. I'm not entirely sure I'd categorize it as YA, but we'll see where it goes from here. Brody is pretty pathetic, so I think it will be a fun to watch him transform to whatever is going on on the cover.Brodys Ghost by Vol.1 By Mark Crilley is a 2010 Dark Horse Originals publication. This is another gem in the comic/graphic novel realm I stumbled across, thanks to the Houston public library. One of my favorite graphic novel series
Mark Crilley is *criminally* underrated in the comics industry. He's beloved by those that know him, but too few know him. Akiko, his earlier work, is a masterpiece that can most easily be described as Star Wars meets Wizard of Oz filtered through the sensibilities of Miyazaki. Loved it. The art style is amazing, and the story is beautifully crafted and accented with humor. Would definitely recommend reading the entire series.

Ok so I never got into anime except for kingdom hearts but Brodys ghost was actually very intriguing and interesting. I couldnt put it down. I loved how they mashed paranormal with action. Very well written and the graphics were pretty good. This is a graphic novel series so Five stars For now but I just hope that the rest will bring the same punch.
