This is a very entertaining read. Those that have given poor ratings have missed the point of the book. This is a light, funny, engaging, and sexy book. The main character, Karli Lane, is cute, funny, and perhaps a little ditzy at times, but then she's very young and going through a hormonal and seemingly cellular change that no mere human could possibly understand. I find her to be a refreshingly strong, yet vulnerable, female lead. I don't understand how she could resist Vance Alexander, oneI loved this book. I could not put it down. I got sucked into the story right away and couldn't stop reading. The characters were sexy and funny. I loved the chemistry between them. They loved to hate each other but depended on each other even when they didn't want to. Over all I just can't wait for the next book.
Hit the nail on the head - although I'd probably only give it one star. It's the first book I've almost deleted from my kindle for being so bad
I can't say enough about this book! LOVED it!! Can't wait for the next in the series! This is one of those books that I will read again and again!
Awesome story, wonderful plot! Full of fantastic characters, drama, danger, murder, witches, evil, vampires, a fairy, demons, and magic. Falling for two different men at once, caught in the middle of a murder investigation, and coming into her magic! Puts lots of pressure on a girl. Whats a girl to do? Will she figure out the murderer, before she is the next victim? She got away once, but can she again? What is the connection between the women that are being murdered? Can she figure it out
While I can see why a lot of people like this series, after all it is quite captivating and almost impossible to put down, I can also see a lot to complain about. (Sorry!) The characters are incredibly immature for their ages. They also yell, curse and shriek a lot. It's truly distracting and makes it all a little less enjoyable. The writing isn't much better.
