Some part of me has always been attracted to those who work between the Living and The Other Side. I sat down yesterday to read Dont Fear the Reaper by Michelle Muto and I didnt get up until I had finished it. It was the kind of book that you just dont put down. I am struggling with figuring out how to explain why this book is so good. I know that I cant simply say It just is and youll take my word for it. You want details, right? Part of the draw for me is this authors amazing writing style. Its dark and haunting, but beautiful and delicate even while dealing with a sensitive, ugly subject.

I am in awe of Mutos sheer writing abilities! This book sucked me in and didnt release me until the final page was tucked neatly inside my head. I cant get over how amazing, how breathtaking, and how riveting this book is. Dont Fear the Reaper is one of those books that Im going to read again and again. What I Liked: 1) All of the characters. It seems strange to say that I liked all f the characters in the book, especially when none of them belong to the land of the living. Keely is an earthbound (ghost), Banning is a Reaper (as in Grim), and Daniel is a demon. But they all have such lively personalities that I couldn't help but be drawn to them. Especially Banning.
