I picked this up for a Halloween read and was not disappointed! Really enjoyed the story about the house and the curse. I could easily see this as the next "Twilight" sort of phenomenon with teens. This was Book 1 out of 3 instalments. I can't wait to read Book 2.

Love, pain, comedy, drama, life, and death. The Brown House captures it all. Brylee, Lyn, Kayla, and Ephraim all become close friends that you care for, laugh with, want to cry and want to help succeed. This story takes you on a journey that you don't expect, but deeply enjoy. Twists make the book an engaging read, the characters are well developed, and don't get me started on the creepy occurrences in the Brown House. Brylee and her family moved from California to New Jersey, and Brylee isnt as happy about it as her parents. She finds her new house to be a little spooky and soon starts finding out that her house is haunted, plus has a curse, which has people terrified of it. But on the bright side she meets her next door neighbor Lynley and her totally hot brother Ephraim. As she starts to learn more about her house and the horrors it holds, the more determined she becomes to get to the bottom of it all.

I recieved this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. Actually I won this book, but close enough haha. I LOVED this book, all of it! This novel was the perfect horror, thriller, romance paranormal, young adult book that I have ever read. Now, personally I don't read a lot of ghost books , because unlike vampires and such, I definitely believe that ghosts are real. There was so much built up suspense in this book that I almost couldn't handle it. I wanted to know what was
